The Great Smoky Mountain Photographic Workshop
April 24, 25, 26 & 27 Noon.
Arrive the evening of the 24th.

Skill Level - Basic, intermediate & advanced

Join professional photographers Dennis Greaney and Tom Franks for an adventure in photographic instruction and fun in the Appalachian Highlands of The Smoky Mountain National Park.

The park features unspoiled forests, streams, and waterfalls as well as log cabins and homesteads dating back to the early 1800's. Late April is a great time to photograph the flowers and dogwoods.

The drive is approximately 10 hours from Detroit or Chicago. You may fly into Knoxville, TN.

A block of rooms have been reserved at a local hotel (cost is approx. $75/night).

Workshop topics include:

Composing images for impact, using depth of field as a creative tool, filters for color and black and white, metering for the zone system and much more.

Class size is limited and this workshop fills early in the year so make reservations early. A deposit of $100 will reserve a space for you.

Non-photographing spouses are welcome at no charge.
