The beauty of Great Smoky Mountains National Park is displayed in its awesome waterfalls, cool mountain rivers, wildflowers and  dogwoods.  During the fall the colors are spectacular as the tree leaves change to brilliant colors.  The Park includes  500,000 acres of forest land.  Located in western North Carolina and eastern Tennessee, you can find a wildlands sanctuary preserving the world's finest examples of our forest lands. To this day you can find unspoiled forests similar to those the early settlers found. Wildflowers and migrating birds abound in late April and early May. There are over 800 miles of trails in the Smoky Mountains. The many waterfalls,  rushing rivers, coves and stunning overlooks makes the Smoky Mountains one of the most beautiful parks in the country.

I have created this ten-image portfolio of the Appalachain Mountains from 5 x 7" and 8 x 10" negatives made over the past 7 years working in the Smoky Mountains. These 10 images are silver prints on fiber paper, selenium toned for permanance and will be presented in an impressive linen covered clamshell case.
The prints are 11 x 14 and mounted on 16 x 20 museum quality boards.
